Authorized representative before the European Patent Office. Dr. Kornmüller studied environmental engineering at the Technical University of Berlin and received her doctorate in process engineering.
She subsequently headed a special research area on wastewater treatment in the textile, mineral oil, electroplating and chemical industries as managing director.

After moving into industry, Dr. Kornmüller worked for over ten years as head of the development department and intellectual property protection in the group of companies of an international plant manufacturer for water treatment plants.
Her technical focus is on plant engineering, water treatment, marine technology, shipping, energy supply, chemical and mechanical process engineering, bioprocess engineering, measurement technology and agriculture.
